Our Story
Next Peak was founded by a group of Navy SEAL Special Operators who struggled with transitioning out of the military. After multiple combat tours in war zones, they suffered from Post Traumatic Stress, Traumatic Brain Injuries, depression, and anxiety.
Their families suffered too. They understood the plight of the VA medical system and the pandemic of veteran suicide because they lived it.
There was no existing organization to help the SEAL community and their families navigate these hard life transitions, provide the right mental health tools and resources to manage these stressors and help create a new community focused on wellness.
So they partnered with highly-specialized trauma therapists to create a proven, healing model of therapy protocol coupled with a peer support community of their brothers. In this way, they were able to return to joy, peace and wholeness, reaching their Next Peak in life.
Next Peak empowers Veterans and their Families back to wholeness through therapy, community and connections.
A donation to Next Peak is an opportunity to help Combat Operators reclaim the life that was always meant for them.
There is a critical time between active duty and civilian life. A transition period, that for many, can feel like the line between life and death and last for years. Missing a sense of purpose and community, hopelessness can lead to depression with suicidal thoughts.
We see this low point in their transition as an opportunity to bring them into a community that allows each the possibility to fully express a new purpose in life with the goal of achieving wholeness and inner peace that has been missing for so long.
Let us show you how we do it.
